Are you ready to stop smoking for good? Are you ready to take control away from that disgusting, paper-wrapped WEED?
Are you like most smokers want to quit smoking, but think it’s too hard?
Some of them try to quit cold turkey. They might make it for a day or two, but soon they are right back to lighting up again. Others try the nicotine patch and actually do ok — for a while.
Most smokers who want to quit find there is one thing that stops them, one thing that stands between them and becoming a non-smoker.
That thing is Fear.
- Fear of gaining weight
- Fear of losing the crutch or the pleasure
- Fear of cravings
- Fear that they can’t overcome stress
- Fear that it will be hard
Hypnosis can make it easy
Hypnosis can make quitting simple. Hypnosis can take away the desire, and cravings to smoke. Hypnosis can stop you from gaining weight by redirecting the energy you used to put into smoking, into a healthier habit. Hypnosis can help you handle stress by showing you how to make yourself relax with only a few “trigger” words.
It really can be that simple.
Imagine how you will feel to be a non-smoker. How healthier you will feel. Imagine how clean your clothes can smell, and to really taste food again!
But first, let’s look at how deadly smoking is
You already know smoking is bad for you. Cigarette smoking causes more problems than I can list here. The most common of them are cancer, emphysema, heart disease and lung disease. But I’m sure you already knew that.
But were you aware just how bad the problem was? Do you know how many people die every year from smoking?
Smoking Related Illnesses Kill 1,200 People Every Day in the U.S. – That’s equivilent to 3 large 747 passenger planes falling out of the sky EVERY DAY.
World-wide, smoking kills over 14,000 people a day. That’s about one person dying every six seconds.
Smoking Will Kill You 13 Years Sooner Than a Non-Smoker.
Can hypnosis really help me?
20 minutes after you quit smoking: Your heart rate drops. (US Surgeon General’s Report, 1988, pp. 39, 202)
12 hours after you quit smoking: The carbon monoxide level in your blood drops to normal. (US Surgeon General’s Report, 1988, p. 202)
2 weeks to 3 months after you quit smoking: Your circulation improves and your lung function increases. (US Surgeon General’s Report, 1990, pp.193,194,196,285,323)
1 to 9 months after you quit smoking: Coughing and shortness of breath decrease; cilia (tiny hair like structures that move mucus out of the lungs) regain normal function in the lungs, increasing the ability to handle mucus, clean the lungs, and reduce the risk of infection. (US Surgeon General’s Report, 1990, pp. 285-287, 304)
1 year after quitting: The excess risk of coronary heart disease is half that of a smoker’s. (US Surgeon General’s Report, 1990, p. vi)
5 years after quitting: Your stroke risk is reduced to that of a nonsmoker 5-15 years after quitting. (US Surgeon General’s Report, 1990, p. vi)
According to a study published in “New Scientist” (Vol. 136, No. 1845, Oct 92, p.6.) comparing methods of 6,000 smokers trying to quit, hypnosis is the most effective method of stopping smoking for good with a success rate of 85% in just one session! Quit rates for nicotine gum and patches is only about 10% successful. Quitting cold turkey using only willpower is about 6% successful.
But can the hypnotist try to control me?
If you’ve seen a hypnosis stage show, you probably saw a group of young people that seemed completely under the control of the hypnotist. This has been one of the things that hurts hypnosis’ reputation – and it’s false!
The truth is, at a hypnosis stage show, those people on stage volunteered to go on stage. They knew they would be asked to do foolish things. There was a certain expectation that they would do embarrassing things on stage. But each of them went on stage anyway knowing that they could blame it all on being “under hypnosis.” As a matter of fact, the more embarrassing the behavior, the more they will claim they were “controlled.” At a certain point, they must perform the embarrassing behavior because of the other embarrassing things they already did. They must act as if they were under the hypnotist’s control because of they didn’t they wouldn’t have an excuse for what they did on stage.
Hypnosis is not mind control. On the contrary, you are in control at all times.
Fact: Hypnosis is a common and normal state that you have already been in thousands of times.
Think about the last time you read a good book or watched a very interesting movie. You were likely so involved in it that time itself seemed to pass much faster than you thought it would. Or perhaps somebody was trying to talk to you and you didn’t notice them. These are examples of a light hypnotic trance.
Fact: Hypnosis is as safe as falling asleep, but hypnosis itself is not sleep.
You can’t get stuck in hypnosis because you are never asleep or out of control.
Fact: You will be aware of everything that happens at all times.
You will know what is happening. You will be able to hear the hypnotist, and hear any others around you. You can stop hypnosis at any time by simply opening your eyes and walking away.

Which is better: A face-to-face session with a hypnotist, or by listening to a hypnosis CD or MP3?
A face-to-face session with a hypnotist has many advantages. A hypnotist can talk to you, establish rapport and personalize your session just for you. The hypnotist can observe your reactions and know when to proceed to the next step. He can tailor you session just for you and your needs.
However a hypnosis CD or MP3 has an advantage that the hypnotist does not: you are in control of when you listen. You can listen to it as many times as you want without having to pay for it again.
Some people find that a single session with a hypnotist is not enough to quit smoking. With hourly rates for a hypnotist ranging from $50 to $150 per hour, it can easily cost you $300 to $900 for three to six sessions.
Your hypnosis CD or MP3 will cost less than single session with a hypnotist, and you can listen to it as many times as you want until you have stopped smoking. Listen to it again when you need a “booster” shot during particularly stressful times.

Why Choose Hypnosis to Help You Quit?
Because multiple-session hypnotherapy has been shown to be BY FAR the most effective quitting strategy. Success rates of those using multiple-session hypnosis to quit are as much as 10 times the success rates of those who try to quit without any tools or resources.
Now, don’t shake your head at me. I really did say it was easy — it was a process that included hypnosis, and it was an easy process. To this day I have no desire to smoke. Because the process went so smoothly, my 28-year-old daughter decided she could do it too, and she did . . . one year and one month ago.
During an initial session on disk 2, I was asked to think about what I always wanted, and the simple answer was to be an athlete. I never realized this before now. So here I am at age 50, training to run my first 5K. Try that with a cigarette in your mouth! Not me. Thank you for helping make this easy.”
